 | | | | | | MARKO BOKUN | Direction: Downbeat, Electronica, Pop. Album: I Forgot My Name (2009), Maxi: The Dremthief (2009) Marko Bokun is one of these highly talented musicians and producers who kept working behind the hypes & scenes for a lot of years. So it’s even more amazing that many well-known producers have used his work andsamples without actually knowing him. His samples were used by bands like Duplex Inc. or Blank & Jones and his music was performed in numerous TV broadcasts as well.
The reason for working more or less in the background at that time was that Bokun hadfound his purpose and satisfaction as an artist by making samplelybaries forproducers for several years. After that an even more creative working periodbegan. Bokun decided to improve and develop his own musical style. You might know Marko Bokun from various releases on labels such as KontorRecords (Sunset Chill), Audiopharm SPV (Afrotronic/ Brazilectro), Watermusic Records and some others. As they weremaking their way to a lot of play lists, Bokun’s remixes for Brown, Smith & Grey and Deja-Move brought him some attention.

| | | SERWO SCHAMUTZKI & KOSTA ALDENTE | Direction: Minimal, Deep House. Maxi: Pocos Bajos (2010) 'Serwo Schamutzki & Kosta Aldente' is a producer team from Hanover / Germany concentrating on the new 'Minimal/Deep' Sound. Their vitae and career as musicians is long. They have had releases under their synonym R & W on Ministry of Sound, Polystar Records and GOGO Music. While pausing as a team, both protagonists concentrated on their own ways (song writing and production for shorts films, TV and commercials). In 2009 Ruther and Wemuth decided to reunite and started their project 'Serwo Schamutzki & Kosta Aldente'. As producers and dj-team their sound is deep, moving and big. They deliver one floorfiller after the other and make the mob dance. You can call their sets dirty (schmutzig) and 'al dente'. By the way, with 'Aufgetischt' ('served') Serwo delivers a remarkable mix series close to the project sound.

| | | TOBITOB | Direction: Downbeat, Hip Hop, Pop. Album: Tales from the Country/ City (2010)
Tobitob (Tobias Schmidt) started his career in the German Hip-Hop scene with his first project Der Tobi & Das Bo back in the 90-ies. The follow-up-formation 5 Sterne deluxe released their first album Silium in 1998, entering the charts and being incredibly successful for a German independent music production. In the meantime Tobi produced the German Rapper Ferris Mc (Reimemonster). With the 'Discotizer' (a fictional figure created by 5 FSd that has been on stage only), he opened a new musical dimension for the group, the dancefloor. This defined the stylistic direction for Tobsen's current project Moonbootica. Together with Kowesix, Tobitob gets the things rolling in terms of loud music with loud basses and crowded dance floors. The first tracks were born in Tobi's legendary Sauna Club Studio and 'Get It On' entered the German Dance Charts straight away. That's why Moonbootica founded their own label 'Moonbootique'. The project sound got really big and Moonbootica started to remix international acts like Panjabi MC, Luomo, Boogie Pimps, Skin, Client. In 2003 Moonbootica was nominated for @ the German Dance Awards as 'Discovery of the Year'. They worked with guest artists like Jan Delay, Supermax or Kowalski from Jansen & Kowalski, releasing the two amazing albums 'Moonbootica' and 'Moonlight Welfare'. During all these times Tobitob did some awesome downbeat tracks, compiled with various unreleased tracks that were created in countless sessions. This collection is the Tobitob Sessionlab album 'Tales from the Country/ City'. |

| | MARIO VAN HACHT

The first Visit Venus album is still a Downbeat classic. Mario von Hacht used to work in the legendary 'Container-Studio' and his 'Area 21' studio in Hamburg where most of his recordings and productions were done.
